At Galadrim, we care deeply about understanding every user so we can offer them the most suitable interface as they move through your application or website.
Often confused, UX and UI design are complementary, and each plays an important role in creating a web or mobile platform.
UX design refers to the “user experience”.
Upstream of the design phase, UX is a design process that enables us to best understand the future user’s needs and emotions.
In other words, the user experience is a set of elements that make an interface intuitive, easy to use, fast, convenient, useful, reliable, accessible, etc.
UI design, for its part, refers to the “user interface”.
Implemented after UX in the creation process, this second phase is dedicated to the product’s visuals and aesthetics as well as interaction.
To make the interface as effective and intuitive as possible, the UI designer works on all visual elements: colours, shapes, icons, typefaces, animations, etc.

Our expertise
At Galadrim, we run design workshops at the start of your project to ensure it is as relevant and tailored as possible to your future users.
Phase 1 – UX Design
During this phase, we help you define a clear brief and specifications to kick off the project on solid footing.
Once your platform’s objectives are defined, we structure them using User Flows: the path and actions an end user will take across an interface. This journey lets us optimise the experience and key user paths.
Next comes the wireframing phase, where we create functional mockups: black‑and‑white schematics of the future interface. The main goal is to show the client the structure of the site or app pages before the visual design.
Phase 2 – UI Design
After the wireframes are approved, we can start the final design phase.
During this last phase, the client remains central by reviewing and commenting on each new mockup until we reach the final result: an effective, aesthetic, and intuitive interface.
Once the final mockups are validated, we can start development or simply deliver the mockups to you in the format you prefer.
